Biker Chick

For Lorelei’s Birthday we gave her a walk-bike. At that time the weather was not so nice, and also Lorelei couldn’t quite master the thing yet. Well, that changed over the past week or two… It is spring so we have been playing outside a lot. I decided to get the walk-bike out and have her ride it. Well, that was quite the success… It was much harder to get her off that thing than to get her on it . She loves the bike. She started out kind of slow, but soon went faster and faster, purposely finding little bumps or slopes so she could go “wheeeeee!”, and race down them… She is now at the point where she can kind of run it along and then let it ride a little. That, of course, is the point of a walk-bike: getting a feel for the balance. Well, I think she has about mastered that. We do have a normal bike for her, a little one. While it seems a bit early for that I am guessing that it won’t be very long before she wants to try that!

So, she is quite the biker chick, isn’t she?
